  • Sign and Verify all Career Preparation Work Based Learning Training Plans

  • Verify All Instructors Offer Vocational Service Organization

  •  PIEMS Snapshot - Verify Class Enrollments and Duties of Each Teacher

  • Provide Career Interest and Aptitude for Pre H.S. Students

  • Cover Beginning of School ARD Meetings with CATE Instructors

  • Code PIEMS and Tech Prep Snapshot DATA

  • Purchase Items with Carl Perkins Monies

  • Write Appropriate Bids

  • Prepare CATE Instructor Inservice

  • Work with Business Department to Verify Budgets

  • Advisory Committee

  • Have Students in Tech Prep Courses Register On Line with Tech Prep Office

  • Plan/Conduct College/Career Night

  • Update Instructor Job Descriptions

  • Advisory Committee - Program Evaluation



  • Spring

  • Monitor Budgets

  • Assist with Master Schedule for Following Year

  • Conduct College Night or Career Fare

  • Assist with Vocational Student Organization Competition

  • Prepare Staff Development Activities for Summer and Fall

  • End of School ARD and Transitional ARD Coverage by CATE instructors

  • Budgeting for Next School Year

  • Get Input from Instructors and Advisory Council as to Program Needs

  • Inventory Classrooms

  • Graciously Accept Resignations of Teachers

  • Hire New Teachers

  • Complete CATE Annual Application
